Rupay KCC
In Shahjahanpur District, PACS Rupay Kisan Credit Card Scheme and Common Accounting System’s related project are being implemented according to guidelines issued by Government of India, in order to distribute crop loans to farmers through Rupay KCC by seeking fund from financial inclusion scheme, through which we are planning to benefit the farmers, societies and banks accordingly.
In the first phase of the scheme, 115 Societies of the district will go live technically by joining with CBS affiliated systems. The first step to link the selected 50 PACS and introduce their members to facilitation of Rupay KCC has been done successfully. The target is to provide the members with Rupay Card of All PACS Societies till the end of the year and to 100% PACS till March 2016.
The Rupay Kisan Credit Card provided to the members of the Society will work in the Societies, Fertilizers Centers, ATM/ Posh machines installed in the bank branches and other nationalized banks ATM equally. Through our Banks CBS platforms our Societies members of agricultural background can buy goods and merchandise through micro ATM’s/ Posh machines installed in the banks or society through their shadow accounts.
The posh machines will be connected to CBS Systems of the Bank and details of their holdings in the accounts of agricultural holdings by conforming loan limit and market linkage, etc. will be done automatically by the system. The farmers will be distributed Rupay KCC which will work through National Payment Corporation of India approved and NFS. The testing of this system has been successfully done by the bank.
